Questions, answered
Are the discount codes created automatically?
Yes. When a visitor wins, PopSpin creates a unique discount code in your Shopify store for them, usable once and by one customer. If you would rather give everyone the same code, use a Custom code prize and enter a code you created in Shopify.
Can I set different winning probabilities (odds) for each slice?
Yes. Every prize has a chance, and the editor shows each one's odds as a percentage. You can also cap how many times a prize can be won, so a big prize is given out only a set number of times.
Can I translate the popup text into other languages?
Yes. In a campaign's Translations section, add any of 41 languages and write the popup's texts in it. Visitors see the translation for the language they are browsing your store in, and texts you leave empty use your default wording.
Where can I view and export captured subscriber emails?
Everyone who signs up is listed on the Subscribers page. You can search, narrow the list by date, and export it to CSV at any time. Each signup is also saved as a Shopify customer.
How are monthly contact limits counted?
Each new signup counts as one contact. On campaigns with no form, each play counts instead. Counts reset at the start of each calendar month (UTC). Views of the popup never count.
Can I switch or cancel my subscription plan anytime?
Yes. Plans are billed through your Shopify invoice, and you can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time from the Plans page. Uninstalling the app also cancels it.
